Mack Performing Arts Center

The dream of a performing arts center began with former Arlington Memorial Principal Kerry Csizmesia who believed the Arlington School District could play a role in making a performing arts center a reality. Mr. C met with several individuals and organizations to secure funding for the center's construction including Arlington Arts and Enrichment Program board members. From that meeting, a partnership developed.

More than 650,000 was raised from private donations including the campaign's early supporters: Don Kendall & Mack Molding, Gary Goldberg & Diana Meehan, and Perez & Elizabeth Ehrich. On September 6, 2007, the Mack Performing Arts Center & Wes Carlson Studio for Dance and Theater was dedicated. With the help of many, the dream became a reality.

Today the Mack PAC & Carlson Studio serves the school and local community. It is home to AMHS and Fisher Elementary School plays and concerts, guest lectures, and school assemblies. The Mack PAC has also been utilized by numerous community groups who need space, large or small, enough to meet their needs, including a local church congregation, which needed a temporary place to gather after the destruction of their building during Tropical Storm Irene.
